Here is MaryAnne from the McIvor Quilters group that I have joined. This name of this quilt design is a Hunter's Star and it is absolutely beautify in browns and greens. I can't take any credit for the quilting of this quilt but I hope to have a chance to work on one like it in the future.
Here is an ongoing project that I started in the winter. It is a work in progress and one quilt that I don't think I'll ever part with. It has fabric scraps from many of the quilts I have made in the past. This is a great project for taking with you on trips or holidays when you know you will have a clean place to work on it. On a trip to Calgary this year, I introduced this quilt to my friend Selena who started her own!. I can't wait to see how far she had gotten since May on her project.
Definitely takes time and patience because it is all hand done but still a great project. I can't wait to get mine closer to complete.
I've joined a WONDERFUL group of ladies that love to quilt. Maybe even more than I do. They have all been truly an inspiration. The McIvor Quilters. We meet in the evening three Tuesdays per month and one Saturday.
I've also been quilting for the Riverside Quilters in Lac Du Bonnet. I have had the pleasure of quilting many of their "Quilts of Valour". Beautiful quilts and great practice for me and my long arm.
Here is a RARE picture with me and one of my recent quilts.
