About Me

Well, I've been making patchwork quilts for over 5 years and I just can't get enough of them. I have now bought a long arm quilting machine to make those lovely designs and finish quilts professionally. I now want to offer my skills to others.

I love making quilts for kids.  Colourful and cuddly.  Unique and special.  This one my Aunt fell in love with and just had to take it home to her grandson in Toronto.    A good home for a special quilt.  I would charge between $50.00 and $75.00 for a small quilt this size.  A single could run up to $150.00 depending on the complexity and fabric that is available.
If you are interested in having a quilt made for you, I will provide an estimate sheet that you can complete and email back to me.  If you are interested, please reply to this blog and I will email you the information.

This quilt was not from a pattern.  I was really crazy when I started out.....  I just made one square out of scraps, played with it and other colours until I had this.  I bet it is somewhere out there in a real book but I had to try it. It lives at "my room" in my brother's cottage in Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba.  Since this was taken, pine walls, doors and paint have been added to the room but it is one of the most comfy quilts at the cottage.  Oh yeah, My very handy hubby made the beautiful head and foot board out of tamerak logs.  Ain't it nice?

This quilt and pillow set was made for a very special little boy.  Eric loves it!.  It goes wherever he goes but it usually lives on the couch in front of the TV in the basement so he has something to snuggle with.

This is one of the very first quilts I sold.  It turned out so nice I just had to take a picture of it before it left my hands.  I wasn't able to machine quilt it but it really didn't need it.
The pattern is called "A trip around the world" and it will always be one of my favorites.
